一、熒光素（Luciferin）
生物發光是生物學研究中的一種基本工具，科學家們已將自然發生的生物發光反應的力量應用于報告基因測定，在該測定中，熒光素酶在添加發光底物后產生光。GoldBio提供廣泛的熒光素底物，包括用于小鼠螢光素酶成像、細胞培養和ATP測定的D-熒光素鉀鹽，以及Colenterazine，用于生物發光共振能量轉移（Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer）、ELlSA、高通量篩選測定以及細胞和組織中超氧化物陰離子和過氧亞硝酸鹽的化學發光檢測。GoldBio還提供高靈敏度的單光和雙光Illumination™檢測試劑盒用于體外測量螢火蟲（Firefly）熒光素酶和海腎（Renilla）熒光素酶的活性，并有閃光和輝光類型的形式以滿足不同檢測和發射持續時間需求。此外，GoldBio提供了凍干形式的Illumination™檢測試劑盒。

二、異丙基-β-D-硫代半乳糖苷（IPTG）
IPTG是一種半乳糖的類似物，不可代謝，可使lac阻遏物失活，誘導大腸桿菌合成β-半乳糖苷酶。在lac操縱子的控制下，克隆的基因表達是通過IPTG誘導的。IPTG通常用于誘導重組蛋白，是硫半乳糖苷轉乙酰酶的底物，并已報道在細菌中誘導青霉素酶。IPTG通常用于需要誘導β-半乳糖苷酶的克隆程序，并且最常與X-Gal一起用于藍/白細菌菌落篩選。

三、感受態細胞（Competent Cells）
感受態細胞是各種研究用途的理想選擇，包括一般克隆、蛋白質表達和文庫構建。GoldBio提供大腸桿菌電轉感受態細胞、化轉感受態細胞、農桿菌電轉感受態細胞、農桿菌化轉感受態細胞以及其他試劑。GoldBio的電轉細胞轉化效率已得到驗證，其實際效率高達≥1 x 108 cfu/μg DNA。
